HOTEL PROJECT
Special Design Bungalow Hotel Project is a project consisting of 23 independent one-story holiday homes in Congo. Consisting of 20 standard rooms and 3 suites, the project aims to offer a residence that integrates perfectly with the environment, thus providing the guests with the opportunity to relax, meditate and have fun at the same time. The architectural concept behind the design is to build a space where people can escape and be together, inspired by the oasis where art and design flow perfectly into the outside world, to create a unique space in unprecedented times by creating a minimal form with local materials that can easily integrate with the environment and leave a pleasant impression.
The standard rooms in the bungalow layout consist of three areas, including the living room, bedroom, and bathroom, and finally a private living area with a porch. Suite rooms, on the other hand, consist of four areas, including a private area for the kitchen and bathroom, a living room, a bedroom and dressing room, and finally a living area with a porch.
The interior has a rather neutral palette, with woods and warm colors adding to the cozy atmosphere. The warm color of the material contrasts nicely with the light-colored plaster.
The box-shaped residence is clad in large glass panels that make the most of natural light, and the living spaces facing the large openings that connect to the outside, providing a privileged view of the lake and forest from every angle, are inspired by modern lines. Earth tones are blended with natural stone and masonry for a home feeling without losing the touch of nature.
Large glass partitions frame diverse views of the surrounding forest and allow daylight to flood the interior, while the main living areas are open to provide a seamless flow to the outer deck.
Unlike chemicals, which have environmental advantages beyond being energy-neutral, the space is naturally filtered by plants, and a wooden walkway floats above the water. The forest and sea, seen behind the gray, boring barriers along the road, add lightness and freshness with the subtle change in the shapes and shades of blue and green and the setting sun.
Honoring local craft and local building traditions, the bungalow houses also explore a contemporary architectural style for rural seclusion. Whether they are vacationers or permanent residents, by their very nature they celebrate the outdoors, promoting rest, relaxation, and contemplation, often secluded and maintaining privacy. Generally modest, simple dwellings and lake houses provide outdoor living with formal, tactile, and spatial practices that are both pragmatic and innovative.
